Piano Days

Two films will be screened at Piano Days 2022. The 1925 blockbuster by director Germaine Dulac, Heart of an Actress, will play in the silent film session, accompanied, of course, by the (upright) piano. And those 88 piano keys play a pivotal role in Mathieu Amalric’s recent Hold Me Tight, through the musical ambitions of its troubled protagonist.
