Music of the Stars

Is there such a thing as the 'Harmony of Spheres'? Do the stars form one big cosmic symphony orchestra? The philosophical-musical duo Doppio Stile brings together the music of Arvo Pärt, Iannis Xenakis and Philip Glass with images made by NASA and ESA of our solar system and galaxies. The musicians draw on astronomy professor Katrien Kolenberg's research on the vibrations of stars. The result is a stunning artistic performance that literally takes you on a journey through the universe.
