An evening with Vandana Shiva (in English)
Ten years after her last visit in Belgium, Vandana Shiva comes back to Brussels. This world-famous Indian activist has been working for more than 40 years on sustainable agriculture and the protection of the Living.
As the European Union prepares two crucial legislative proposals for the future of our agriculture, and as genetic modification techniques have evolved considerably, what are the challenges for our health, rights and food?
From the new generation of GMOs to the marketing of seeds, Vandana Shiva warns us of the risks and gives us her vision of a desirable future. A conversation with a panel of Belgian speakers will follow her speech.
