What does P.E.R.C.H.E mean?
P.E.R.C.H.E stands for "Projections Et Rencontres pour Cinéphiles en situation de Handicap ou d'Empêchement" (Screenings and Encounters for Cinephiles with Disabilities or Impairments), a project of cinema screenings that strives for inclusion of all audiences so that as many people as possible can go to the cinema. As cultural workers, we do not always have all the necessary knowledge. That's why we collaborate with different associations that work with and for people with disabilities.
What is it about?
To launch the project, we start with test sessions to get feedback from those involved and later improve its functioning.
- Reception by a team of volunteers
- Audio description available on the EarCatch* application
- Subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing in French
- Access and toilets for PRM
- Magnetic induction loop in the auditorium**
If you have any questions or specific requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
*To access the audio description of the film, you must download the EarCatch application, select "Le règne animal" and download it. The film will then be in the application on your phone, even if the WiFi is not working in the theater. The audio descriptor automatically connects to the movie currently playing in the theater.
**The magnetic induction loop allows the hearing impaired to hear only the sound of the movie and mute other sounds. It is accessible from the seats designated for this purpose. If you have a question, a reception team is on hand to answer it.
