Flagey Academy, ReMuA & Singing Molenbeek
Around fifteen Brussels schools are part of the Flagey Academy, ReMuA and Singing Molenbeek school choir network. On this day, these children will meet and sing together with the Flagey Academy youth choir on the stage of Studio 4 in Flagey. At the end of an afternoon of workshops and rehearsals, they willperform before an audience.
Flagey Academy is a youth choir consisting of boys and girls aged between 8 and 20 from all around Brussels. Participants are selected on the basis of their motivation and talent. They are recruited mainly from school choirs in Brussels elementary schools, reflecting the city's social, cultural and linguistic diversity.
School choirs are organized by Flagey, ReMuA and Singing Molenbeek in elementary schools across Brussels. Today, over 500 children aged between 6 and 12 participate in singing at school.
