Short films for the littles ones

Come and discover a new selection of international short films for the whole family, offering a great insight into the diversity of this relatively under-represented format on the big screen. A ‘battery-mommy’ who goes to save nursery children, two little girls caught in a thunderstorm while camping, or strange little creatures on an unknown planet who set off in search of winter: here's just a taste of what's in store for you in this gentle, poetic screening.

The screening will be followed by a dialogue about the films seen, focusing as much on the filmmaking techniques used as on the themes raised. It's a great way to learn about today's cinema, and a fun way to analyse the world around us. As a bonus, children will go home with a little craft to make at home: a thaumatrope, a pre-cinema optical toy.
