Dishwasher_ is hard to categorize. Labeling them as a “jazz band” does not do justice to their eclectic sound. Free improvisation remains a key pillar of their music, reflecting their jazz roots. The Ghent-based trio constantly pushes the boundaries of their instruments and interplay. You never know what to expect in their music: it can seamlessly shift from ethereal and intergalactic to powerful and danceable.
