Flagey Academy, ReMuA & Singing Molenbeek
Around fifteen Brussels schools are part of the network of school choirs of Flagey Academy, ReMuA and Singing Molenbeek. On this day, these children will meet and sing with the Flagey Academy youth choir on the stage of Studio 4 of Flagey. At the end of an afternoon of workshops and rehearsals, they will perform for the public. The choir members will be accompanied by the Young Belgian Strings, conducted by Dirk Van de Moortel.
Flagey Academy is a youth choir consisting of Brussels boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 20. Participants are selected based on their motivation and talent. They are mainly recruited from school choirs in Brussels elementary schools, reflecting the city’s social, cultural and linguistic diversity.
School choirs are organized by Flagey, ReMuA and Singing Molenbeek in elementary schools across Brusssel. Today, more than 1,000 children aged 6 to 12 practice singing at school.
After the performance, our teams are ready to give more information to children who would like to join Flagey Academy.
