In the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, Saor, a young Indian, returns to his native village to bury his lost love Valentina. Meeting Valentina’s friends and relatives, he delves into her hitherto unknown past, deciphering what has not been said and uncovering buried secrets. Through this fictional scenario based on eyewitness accounts and portrayed by non-professional actors, the film explores the context of the 80s and 90s, a disastrous period marked by a conflict between the state and two armed groups that left more than 69,000 people dead and 15,000 missing.
