Orchestre du Festival & Shirly Laub

Musiq3's string orchestra, made up of some thirty musicians from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, is conducted by violinist Shirly Laub. From its very first performances, the orchestra has made a strong impression on both press and public alike. It has performed with international soloists such as Graf Mourja, Edna Stern, Jean-Bernard Pommier, Marie Hallynck, Ronald Van Spaendonck, Benjamin Dieltjens, Alexandre Esperet and Fazil Say. For this year's edition, we've given Shirly Laub carte blanche for a program that's curious, exciting and full of energy, in the image of the orchestra so dear to the Festival.
