Proto anime cut. Visions of the future in Japanese animation

Japanese anime heroes regularly live out their adventures in stunning science fiction worlds. Showing a number of background drawings, sketches and source material the exhibition takes the visitor to the heart of the creative process revealing the filmmakers to be architectural dreamers, operating at the edges of believability, fiction and utopia. These original drawings and material for some of the most important Japanese animation films will be shown for the first time in Belgium.
