During the night of 18/01/11 Laëtitia Perrais is kidnapped, strangled and murdered. The search for her body took a while. Ivan Jablonka (winner of the Prix Medicis 2016, Prix des Prix & Prix littéraire Le Monde 2016) sought out the family of the victim as well as the protagonists involved in the court case of the murder. He sheds light on her tragic passing and reviews our society in which women still suffer from oppression, rape and crime.
