Denis Kozhukhin
On his twentieth birthday, Russian piano virtuoso Denis Kozhukhin received his diploma from the Queen of Spain after completing his studies at the Escola Reina Sofia in Madrid. Three years later, he won the 2010 Queen Elisabeth Competition. This pupil of Dmitri Bashkirov and Daniel Barenboim nowadays plays with the world's greatest orchestras. At Flagey, he shows us that he feels at home in every kind of repertoire: from the Baroque piano suites by Handel to George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
