Heleen Van Haegenborgh & Christian Mendoza

One piano. Two musicians. Four hands. This duo with jazz pianist Christian Mendoza and the classical pianist Heleen Van Haegenborgh builds a bridge between jazz, contemporary classical music and minimalism. The duo plays a mix of their own compositions and improvisations such as György Kurtág’s transcriptions of Johann Sebastian Bach's music for four hands which feature on their debut album Copper.
