The grand master of Afrobeat pays tribute to the grand master of bebop! Tony Allen, world-famous as the inventor of Afrobeat, has dedicated his latest album and first release on the Blue Note label to Art Blakey. For many jazz drummers, this legendary musician and inventor of the bebop drum style is their great idol.
