Herbert Schuch

The career of the Romanian-German pianist Herbert Schuch got off to a flying start by winning three important competitions in one year's time: the Casagrande Competition (2004), the London International Piano Competition (2005), and the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna (2005). Schuch is celebrated worldwide for his virtuosity, but also for his surprisingly original programs. In his concert during the Flagey Piano Days he will contrast the playful Bagatelles by Beethoven with the impressive Musica ricercata by Ligeti, known as the film music of Eyes wide Shut.
