Revue Blanche pitches along with the nineteenth- and twentieth-century waves of the Baltic Sea, diving into the surprising oeuvre of Grieg, Gretchaninov, and Pärt. The looming threat of nature and contemplation of the area’s utter beauty are intertwined with Scandinavian folk elements. Revue Blanche increases its repertoire considerably with its very own musical arrangements of works from a sound world formerly unknown to the ensemble.
