Julien Libeer
During this solo concert, Julien Libeer pays tribute to a number of masterpieces of the piano repertoire which have made their mark on musical history. For example, the piano music of Alban Berg and his teacher Arnold Schönberg heralded at the end of the Romantic period without any loss of instinctiveness. Beethoven's Sonata No. 30 is ground-breaking and poses a challenge for any pianist. Did you know that Richard Strauss also wrote quite a lot of piano music? Come and discover it during this performance by this 'artist in residence' at Flagey.
