A tribute to Leonard Bernstein: a composition that begins with the plot of the West Side Story: two gangs share a territory and clash. The "Comme-ci"-gang uses high technology, is mathematical, logical, and has lots of money. The " Comme-ça" likes singing, dancing and partying. They are instinctive, emotional and always ready to fight. But one day, it went too far... Now they will have to learn to live together, to accept, to meet and even to love each other.
120 singers from 6 to 12 years, together with the musicians of Brussels Philharmonic will show us what the project El Sistema Belgium is all about, a musical project that teaches, gathers and celebrates diversity.

El Sistema Belgium : equal opportunities for all thanks to music
This season, the project El Sistema Belgium, organised by ReMuA/ShAkE, gives once again the chance to 2000 children to learn music in their school and in their neighbourhoods. The collective practice of singing in a choir and/or playing a rhythmic instrument in a grand orchestra mirrors a society where one listens to , respects and cooperates with each other. The project El Sistema Belgium enriches the education of children, contributes to their social integration and provides them with quality artistic training. A project in collaboration with Belgian National Orchestra, Flagey and Brussels Philharmonic.
