Café Derby

Lenny Van Wesemael debuted with this tragicomic film about a – sporadically maniacal – market vendor who opens a café in 1985 at the regional airport where the Pope will say an open air mass. Nothing goes as planned in this beautifully photographed (by Ruben Impens) film.
