Janet Perlman, Feminine Irony

Writer of books for children and illustrator in Canada and the USA, Janet Perlman has worked as both an independent animator and with the NFB. Her first short, The Tender Tale of Cinderella Penguin was nominated for an Oscar, and from Lady Fishbourne's Complete Guide to Better Table Manners to Sorry Film not Ready, her subtle humour never fails to shine through.
