Loving Vincent
Dorota Kobiela, Hugh Welchman
Summer 1891, postman's son Armand Roulin is looking for the brother of Vincent van Gogh to give him a letter. He gradually becomes fascinated by this immense artist, and tries to understand his last days and what led him to his fatal act. By questioning those who knew him, he discovers how surprising and passionate his life was. A multi-awarded film masterpiece, created entirely in oil paintings.
You can also see some of the final animated paintings for the film in our exhibition as well as a live demonstration of the techniques used.
