The Kid with a Bike + Big Memory: Jean-Pierre Dardenne

The relationship between Cyril, abandoned by his father, and Samantha, who lets him stay with her at weekends. This film about childhood and the loss of innocence is the most luminous of the Dardenne brothers oeuvre, and was awarded the Grand Prix at Cannes 2011. The screening will be complemented by Richard Olivier’s interview of Jean-Pierre Dardenne, for Big Memory.
