Augustin Dumay’s Brahms #1

Young Brahms was very hard on himself. Each musical piece that didn’t meet the musical standards set by his idol Beethoven, he threw into the fire without remorse. The result is an impressive oeuvre of masterpieces, especially his chamber music works which he often dedicated to his friends and his loved ones. During this concert, this love for music is interpreted by Augustin Dumay and his musical friends playing, among other pieces, the warm-blooded and grand String Sextet.
