In 2011, Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort made a recording (commissioned by Klara) of Liszt's two Piano Concertos and the Piano Sonata. The album was well received and was awarded a Gold Label of Klassiek Centraal. His passion for the piano music of Franz Liszt and his admiration for the new straight-strung grand piano by Chris Maene inspired Vanbeckevoort to release a completely new recording devoted to the composer.
