Jazzlab 2.5 : Bert Dockx – Ottla

Bert Dockx, frontman of the Flying Horseman and Dans Dans returns to his jazzroots. The past fifteen years, this singer-guitarist has been building a body of work that captivated both the alternative rock scene as the jazz world. Thanks to his carte blanche at Flagey, he can add the contemporary jazz project Ottla to his already impressive career. Along with his band, he dabbles in the music of Thelonious Monk, Sun Ra, Herbie Nichols and Duke Ellington, inspiring him also to write new music of his own.
