This sonic tasting takes place before the concert of  Jerusalem Quartet & Matan Porat

What does quartet music taste like? What are the mathematical laws that govern the number 4? Is there such a thing as a boss in a kwartet? During our ‘sonic tastings’ or pre-concert talks of this season, you are invited to explore together with an expert from a field other than music, what the art of quartet playing is all about. Each guest will demonstrate together with a musical host the importance of the number 4 in their respective field and will show us how their findings have inspired them to appreciate the art of music making. We start off with parfumer Marie-Anouch Sarkissian who will demonstrate how parfums can inspire music making.
