Steiger is an upcoming jazz trio from Ghent. With their tasty grooves and minimalist presentation, the band is one of the promising newcomers of the Belgian jazz, together with STUFF., Nordmann, De Beren Gieren and Black Flower. This winner of the prize Jong Jazztalent of the Gent Jazz Festival 2017 now presents its latest album Give Space. Each composition of the album is recorded at various locations such as a piano studio, a forest, a boat, a container, etc. The spaces are so unpredictable that they become like a fourth group member.
