On the program for this second concert by artist in residence, Philippe Herreweghe, the Mass in B minor, also known as the 'Hohe Messe', one of the highlights from the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach. This mass is Bach's ultimate masterpiece thanks to the perfect stylistic fusion of everything that was old and new back then. For the occasion, Philippe Herreweghe and Collegium Vocale Gent are assisted by outstanding soloists, internationally acclaimed as Bach-connoisseurs.
