Clandestine Childhood
Infancia clandestina | Benjamin Ávila
Argentina 1979. Juan, 12, and his family return to Buenos Aires under a false identity after years of exile. Juan’s parents and uncle Beto are members of the Montoneros guerrilla group, fighting against the ruling military junta, which is relentlessly tracking them down. Juan is Ernesto to all his friends at school and to Maria, whom he is in love with. He must not forget it; dropping his guard for even the briefest of moments could prove fatal for his entire family. This is a story of underground resistance and love. The story of a clandestine childhood.
