Paul Meyer, Quatuor Adorno
Bernard Herrmann is one of the great names from the world of film music. How can one forget the tumultuous opening of Citizen Kane, the chirping and troubled violins in Psycho, or the beautiful sombre saxophone sounds in Taxi Driver? For this concert, we put a non-cinematographic work by Herrmann in the spotlight next to the famous Clarinet Quintet by Brahms which was recently used as a soundtrack in the exciting Imperium by Daniel Ragussis.
