Luis Fernando Pérez returns to the Festival after an absence of seven years. It will be a joy to rediscover this disciple of Alicia de Laroccha as he transports us to Andalusia. Pérez offers us a programme that draws on Spanish popular roots, with the canonical piece El Amor Brujo, but he will also be performing some of the most beautiful works of Bach and Chopin. Soaring between virtuosity and poetry, this is one of the finest pianists of his generation.
