Muhiddin Durruoğlu’s music is all about oppositions: nurtured by the cheerful Turkish folklore and the colors and rhythms of his youth, his style also expresses the endlessness and the mystery of galaxies and universes. With the composer himself at the piano, the Belgian Ensemble Kheops puts this exceptional musician in the spotlight and presents us their first CD Fugitives, released with the label Cypres, completely dedicated to Durruoğlu.
