Hagen Quartett

The Austrian Hagen Quartett has been at the pinnacle of the classical music world for more than 35 years. The quartet has won pretty much every prize and competition going and is exclusively associated with Deutsche Grammophon, for whom it has already recorded nearly fifty CDs. The famous quartet is finally making its way to Flagey with a programme that suits the acoustics of Studio 4 right down to the ground - with Bartok’s Sixth (and final) String Quartet, Schubert’s String Quartet no. 13, nicknamed ‘Rosamunde’ after Helmina von Chézy’s play of the same name and Hugo Wolf’s Italian Serenade.
This promises to be one of the highlights of the season!
