Élodie Vignon
Piknik Concert | Album release: D'ombres (2019, Cyprès Records) – recorded at Flagey
Colourful Belgian and French piano music is central to the brand new album by pianist Élodie Vignon. In 2018, her CD dedicated to the music of Claude Debussy was enthusiastically received and now she is presenting a tribute to the French Henri Dutilleux and work by the Belgian composer Claude Ledoux that he dedicates to her. It goes without saying that Beethoven will also be present at this intimate picnic concert, albeit with a Belgian touch: the Liège composer André Grétry was one of Beethoven's great examples.
