Filmmaker Dorian Supin created this intimate portrait in 2015 to mark Arvo Pärt’s 80th birthday. The title of the film refers to an entry in one of the many musical notebooks that Pärt has kept throughout his life. As Pärt leafs through these booklets, memories and thoughts emerge. A blend of archive footage and home videos from Pärt’s private archive, this film offers a unique close-up of the composer’s life and work.
