Wildflower

Wildflower takes you on an intense, meditative and spiritual musical journey. The music of this trio (of which the saxophone and bass players are part of the group Ill Considered and the drummer of Sons of Kemet) is inspired by jazz pioneers such as John and Alice Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, Yusef Lateef and Sun Ra, but also by Gnawa music such as modal jazz or Bengal folk music. Starting from simple, catchy melodies, the musicians create a unique hypnotic whole of extremely delicate whispers to powerful climaxes. Their free music pushes them to explore new horizons, resulting in unique performances every time.
