Boris Giltburg will play on the stage of our Studio 4 on 24 November, without an audience but broadcast live on Musiq3. The film of this concert will be available for the Friends of Flagey from Wednesday 25 November 8PM until Monday 30 November 8AM.

At the end of 2019, Boris Giltburg embarked on an ambitious plan to record all 32 Beethoven Piano Sonatas on video for the 250th birthday of the composer in 2020. He had already mastered nine of them and had yet to study 23 works. Giltburg is working hard to make this ground-breaking project a reality. For the occasion, he interprets Beethoven's last three piano sonatas. More than in his previous sonatas, these famous piano pieces focus on intimacy and introspection. Moreover, Beethoven gives us a musical message in his last sonata: keep hoping, because thanks to music we can overcome all difficulties.
