Alex Koo presents: Identified Flying Object feat. Ralph Alessi

The young Belgian Japanese pianist Alex Koo is considered a top talent both at home and abroad. His album Appleblueseagreen, which he released together with American celebrities Ralph Alessi and Mark Turner, was recently chosen by the Downbeat Jazz Magazine as one of the 'Best Albums of 2019' and honoured with 4 stars and described as 'Stunningly original'. During this performance, Alex Koo once again surrounds himself with (ECM-icon) Ralph Alessi, as well as drummer Attila Gyárfás whose international career was launched on the vibrant jazz and impro scene of Budapest. This unique trio will present their latest album Identified Flying Object at W.E.R.F. Records: a unique mix of lyrical compositions and improvisations on the border between film music, minimalism and soundscaping.
