Denis Kozhukhin
How vividly we often remember certain moments and events from our childhood. It makes us dream nostalgically of the days when new discoveries would come upon us in the most fanciful and surprising ways. This wonder lies at the heart of this recital by pianist Denis Kozhukhin, winner of the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in 2010 and artist in residence at Flagey. He takes us on a journey of discovery into the wonderful world of the young mathematician and composer Alexey Shor followed by an interpretation of Schumann's evocative piano collection Kinderszenen and Ravel's playful Sonatine.
