A performance by the Australian-Belgian pianist Anthony Romaniuk is a must-see. Tonight, this exceptional musician surrounds himself with no fewer than three different keyboard instruments. After numerous collaborations with violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja, vocal ensemble Vox Luminis and tenor Reinoud Van Mechelen, he presents his very first solo album Bells: a reflection of his passion for classical music and for improvisation, but also for rock and electronic music. Almost ten centuries of music are covered in this fascinating programme in which he effortlessly contrasts music by Jean-Philippe Rameau and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with piano works by George Crumb and Chick Corea.
