The richness of cultural diversity is the focus of Turkish-Belgian pianist Işıl Bengi's third solo album. In this concert, she discovers the links between 19th and 20th century piano works by composers such as the Russian Mily Balakirev, the Spaniard Enrique Granados and the Serbian Marko Tajcevic. The result is a highly original programme of tension, passion, fervour, virtuosity and contrast.
