Les Harkis
Philippe Faucon
Late 1950s, early 1960s. The Algerian war drags on. Many impoverished Algerians, known as “Harkis”, join the French army. Salah and Kaddour find themselves under the command of Lieutenant Pascal. As the conflict draws to a close, the prospect of independence looms large. The fate of the Harkis looks bleak. Pascal clashes with his superiors as he tries to secure the repatriation of all the men in his unit to France.
