Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles

Lunchtime concert given by students from the violin classes of Véronique Bogaerts, Leonid Kerbel, Endre Kleve and Shirly Laub. They will play works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach to celebrate the 300th anniversary of his birth in 2014.

Violins may lend themselves to a variety of shades seemingly irreconcilable. They have the strength, lightness, grace, dark and cheerful accents, daydreaming and passion. The violins are loyal, intelligent, active and tireless servants. Thus Hector Berlioz described the violin and it is this vision that the students will share with you.
