Dario Argento

In May Cineflagey will be the place to be for lovers of the giallo genre. We present Bird with the Crystal Plumage, The Cat o' Nine Tails and Four Flies on Grey Velvet, the so-called 'animal trilogy' by Dario Argento, completed with Deep Red, perhaps the best giallo of all time. Murder scenes have never looked so stylized and atmospheric as in these mysteries staged by Argento, driven more by dream logic than by a clear plot. In addition to design, image and sound, Argento also experiments richly with music. Ennio Morricone provided the film scores for Argento's first three feature films. Profondo Rosso, of course, was provided with music by Goblin.
