May 68, 50 years later
2018 will mark 50 years since the ‘Revolution’ of May 1968 which inspired not only the youth of France, Belgium and Europe, but of the entire world.
Half a century later, it is time to take stock. How is the world doing ? What remains of the spirit of rebellion in a world plagued by populism, protectionism and fake news?
Flagey looks back on this particular period in history and finds out what it means for today's society. With different screenings in Studio 5 in collaboration with Sonuma and Cinematek:
