**The Psalms Experience** / Maxim Verbueken

This project unites a number of European cultural houses around the Baltic Sea with which we discover and exchange music that draws inspiration from nature and silence. In collaboration with the Arvo Pärt Center (Laulasmaa, Estonia), the Krysztof Penderecki European Center for Music (Krakow, Poland) or the Louisiana Museum (Copenhagen, Denmark), we develop a program about music, creation and spirituality for a wide audience and with a special focus on young people.

In season 18-19, The Circle of Silence takes form for example during the lectures of the festival Religion in the City, during a concert series of established as well as young string quartets such as Artemis Quartett, Ragazze Quartet and Vision String Quartet, and the concerts organised in the Abbaye de la Cambre where we welcome Philippe Herreweghe and Collegium Vocale Ghent in December and one of the rising stars of the British jazz scene, Kit Downes featuring Tom Challenger during the Brussels Jazz Festival in January.
