Glitter & Doom
Between 12 and 29 March, the Klarafestival presents no less than 27 different productions in Brussels, Antwerp and Bruges. The motto "Glitter & Doom" is the common thread in its programming. Is our 'entertainment society' on the verge of collapsing? What were the ups and downs in Beethoven's life? And what is the current fascination with passions, compositions that pay homage to the suffering and death of Christ with great pomp and circumstance?
