Also this season, we welcome a number of string quartets in Flagey. To deepen the experience of a concert even more, Flagey invites her audience in advance on a sound tasting in which the art of het string quartet is discussed, giving the concert-goers 'listen keys’ to prepare for the concert afterwards.

Pianist in residence Julien Libeer, and Elsa de Lacerda, violinist of the Quatuor Alfama are the host and hostess of these tastings. Every time, they invite an expert who examines the quartet from his/her own perspective.

This introduction is free on presentation of your ticket, but registration for the sonic tasting is required. First come, first served.
