Jan Bucquoy

A self-taught, polymorphous, radical and profoundly Belgian artist, Jan Bucquoy made a name for himself in the medium of film and in many other fields. Profoundly autobiographical, his work also offers flashes of intimate, introspective insight that are not immediately apparent from his media stunts. After the release in Flagey of his latest film The Last Temptation of the Belgians, we will be re-releasing his first two feature films, recently restored by CINEMATEK: La Vie sexuelle des Belges and Camping Cosmos.
